How Strong Is Your Mental Game 🧠 Really?

Mental toughness is what separates athletes who train hard from those who can perform when it matters.

It’s not about being emotionless or fearless — it’s about staying composed under pressure, adapting to setbacks, and delivering when it counts.

This 24-question assessment is built on the well-established 4Cs model of Mental Toughness, developed by Clough, Earle, and Sewell (2002), which identifies four key components that influence an athlete’s ability to thrive in high-pressure environments:

  • Control – staying calm and managing emotions when things go wrong

  • Commitment – following through and staying disciplined even without motivation

  • Challenge – seeing difficulty as an opportunity to grow

  • Confidence – believing in your ability and staying composed under scrutiny

We have also included two additional traits that directly impact performance: focus and emotional resilience.

The reason is that both are essential for real-world performance, and modern sport psychology shows that smart athletes don't just stay tough: 1) They stay focused, and 2) They bounce back fast.

By the end, you’ll receive a Mental Toughness Score with a free personalised resource to help you strengthen the mental side of your game — based on where you’re at right now.
