The months that followed were brutal, physically, yes, but especially mentally...
Fatigue, fear, chest sensations, hyper-awareness of every heartbeat.
Your mind plays a lot of tricks on you after a trauma like that.
But I came back.
Four months later, I was training again.
Seven months after the heart attack, I earned my purple belt.
That experience reshaped how I think about mental toughness and performance in general.
Because when your confidence is rocked to the core, no physical drill fixes it.
